The 2011 war on Libya, led by the US and directed by AFRICOM and then NATO, has been one of the major concerns of the Zero Anthropology Project. Much of the writing led to the publication of Slouching towards Sirte: NATO’s War on Libya and Africa (Baraka Books, 2012), which has been translated into Japanese and republished in Japan in 2019. The date of the most recent edit here was June 27, 2019.
