Videos
were a
critical part of the learning and practice that formed part of the project -- videography of popular culture and open source
collaborative visual ethnography (OSCVE) contributed both the substance and
process behind some of the output of the project. Videos often constituted
the ground for meeting around, discussing, and furthering the understandings
of myself and my online collaborators who for the most part tended to be
Trinidadian writers, musicians, graphic artists, and poets.
The main
collection of videos is presented in the
vodpod
below. Entire lectures by intellectuals whose work is directly relevant to
the project, as well as complete documentaries, films, music videos,
and even some political comedy, form the core of the offerings.
It is
important for the visitor to know that the vodpod below, like the
blog,
was meant as a stand-alone, independent and parallel stream to what
the blog offered. It should not therefore be seen as mere
background, supplement, or otherwise secondary material.
I also have
a very small and slowly growing channel on YouTube, with some derivative
work, and some original work on Vimeo, and a Vodspot TV collection. The YouTube logo
will take you to my video channel, and the vodpod logo will take you to the
Vodspot TV collection.
